At your hotel in Rubavu/Gisenyi, You will be meet and greet by a Tour guide from Kawira Safaris, who will brief you and then transfer you to the locals where you will get to understand the unique culture of Rwandese through their daily life and knowledge of the environment, poetry, folklores, dancing, singing, pottery and the theoretical hunt gathering skills. It’s one of the thrilling experiences and very adventurous as you try to adapt to the Rwandan so called “pygmy” homes and lifestyle. The pottery tour estimated to benefit approximately 62 families.
You can have lunch with the locals in one on the homes or we carry packed lunch.
Later in the evening share a diner with locals and drive back to your hotel.
