6 DAYS PRIMATES OF RWANDA
Day 1: Kigali - Butare - Nyanza - Nyungwe Forest National Park
Arrival in the morning on the airport of Kigali. Transfer to Butare (Huye) where you can visit the national museum and Nyanza Hill (both activities optional). Afterwards transfer to Nyungwe Forest.

Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park
Nyungwe is one of East Africa's largest forests,
with 13 monkey species, including chimpanzees.
Make a walk through the forest in search of
chimpanzees, monkeys and birds,
or do the waterfall trail.

Day 3:Nyungwe Forest National Park - Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park. It is possible to visit the pygmies on the way.

Day 4: Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast we bring you to the starting point of the gorilla tracking. After the briefing you begin your tracking of the gorillas. The bamboo forest will drip around you as you first hear the breaking of bamboo signaling the group is near and then you will be face to face with one of the most delightful and fascinating creatures in the world. After an hour's viewing you will make the trek back to the lodge.

Day 5:Volcanoes National Park
Optional activities for today (one activity included): Make a nature walk in the national park, visit the golden monkeys, climb a volcano or visit Dian Fossey's Grave.
It is also possible to make another gorilla tracking, or to visit the Twin Lakes, Lake Ruhondo and Lake Burera.

Day 6: Volcanoes National Park - Kigali
Transfer to Kigali for your outbound flight. If time allows you can make a city tour through Kigali.
