Chimpanzees & Gorilla Primate Holiday Tour In Rwanda

DAY 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to the home of mountain gorillas.

You will be welcomed by a guide from Green Hills Ecotours then drive to Volcanoes National Park viewing spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains en route. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel La Palme.

 DAY2: Mountain Gorilla tracking & Nature walk

Breakfast and head to the park headquarters with packed lunch & water for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. Time take searching for these Gentle giants ranges between 2-8hours depending on the movement of gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

 DAY 3: Golden monkey tracking.

Enjoy your breakfast and head for an other adventure of tracking the rare golden monkeys in the bamboo forest. Return to the lodge for lunch and leave for Kigali. Dinner and overnight stay in Kigali.

DAY 4: Transfer to Nyungwe forest national park.

Take your breakfast and drive to south western Rwanda to Nyungwe Forest national park. Enroute stop in Butare town to visit Rwanda National Museum, then Murambi genocide memorial museum. Proceed to the forest, relax at the lodge as you wait for dinner & overnight. Gisakura guest house

DAY 5: Chimp tracking and Nature walk in Nyungwe forest

After breakfast, proceed for chimpanzees tracking in the forest with the park rangers. Expect an encounter with other primates like colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, mangabeys, and many others.After tracking drive to KIbuye. Dinner and overnight stay at Kibuye

DAY 6: Kivu island tour, Kigali city tour and Departure.

Have breakfast and have a short tour visiting the lake kivu then drive to Kigali city for a tour to Gisozi genocide memorial center, local art & craft shops, do last minute shopping before driving to the airport for the scheduled flight back home.End of the tour
