Meet Gorilla and Cycling The Congo –Nile trail in Rwanda

Day 1: Arrival - Kigali

After breakfast, meet your tour guide on your arrival at Kigali airport, or meet you at your hotel in Kigali, do a Kigali city sightseeing tour, visit the Gisozi genocide Memorial, and drive to Musanze for an Overnight.

Day 2: Volcano National Park

Early morning, drive to the Volcano National Park foothills for Gorilla trekking; after the visit drive to Gisenyi, and on the way stopover to visit the pygmy community with dancing pots experience and later in the afternoon interact with fishermen in Rubona fishing village. Overnight in Safaris tents at Inzu Lodge

Day 3: Gisenyi to Kinunu Village

Biking from Gisenyi to Kinunu village, along the Congo-Nile trail. On the way stop over for beautiful photography; visit the local community and birdwatching and get the coffee experience from crop to cup. Overnight in Kinunu

Day 4: Kinunu to Kibuye

Bike from Kinunu to Kibuye, continue experiencing the best of the Congo-Nile trail along Lake Kivu while cycling in a fishing village and interact with people learning a lot from Rwandan culture. Arriving in Kibuye later in the afternoon, go for a boat tour relaxing on both beautiful islands Napoleon and Amahoro islands. Overnight in Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu at Home St Jean.

Day 5: Departure

Drive back to Kigali; visit the local market; get time for shopping and after drive back to Kigali airport on your departure time. End.

During gorilla trekking you’ll have the chance to spend one hour with the endangered species observing their different features like how they co-exist with one another, you will get to see how shy they are and gentle, their diet which consists of small invertebrates bamboo shoots, you'll get to see the adult females of the group feeding the infants, and the juveniles grooming one another among other interesting features of the primates.
