Rwanda Backpacker Gorilla Trekking and Cycling Tour
Day 1: Meet your tour guide from Green Hills Ecotours on your arrival at Kigali airport, if time allows us visit Gisozi Genocide Memorial centre. Overnight in Kigali
Day 2: Early morning, drive to Akagera national park; after game drive, driving back to Kigali for overnight in Kigali city.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe national park; stopover in Nyanza king palace and in Butare for the national museums visit and Lunch, after continue to Nyungwe. You can stop at Uwinka for Canopy walk before heading to the hotel. Overnight in Gisakura Guest House
Day 4: Early morning, enter the forest for Chimpanzee trekking or hike to Isumo waterfall and if time allows us, afternoon visit the tea company and drive to Esperance orphanage for overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast and touring Esperance eco-projects with Victor (the founder), drive to Kibuye, later in the afternoon go for a boat tour relaxing on both beautiful islands Napoleon and Amahoro islands.Overnight in Kibuye on shores of Lake Kivu.
Day 6: Biking from Kibuye to Kinunu village, a long the congo-nile trail. On the way stopover for beautiful photography; visit local community and birdwaching and get the coffee experience from crop to cup. Overnight in Kinunu
Day 7: Bike from Kinunu to Gisenyi, continue experiencing the best of Congo-nile trail a long lake kivu while cycling in fishing village, interact with people and meet the fishermen learning a lot from Rwandan culture. Have an overning in Rubona fishing village at Inzu Lodge.
Day 8: Gisenyi sightseeing cycling tour with the Visit people living with disability in Ubumwe community center, continue cycling to Dancing pots (Pygmy community) and in the afternoon drive to Musanze for overnight.
Day 9: Mountain Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes national park; drive to Kigali for overnight.
Day 10: Kigali city sightseeing Tour, visit local market; get time for shopping and after drive back to Kigali airport for your departure. End.
