Rwanda Experience Tour and Hiking the Nyiragongo Active Volcano in Goma/DRC

Day 1: Meet your tour guide from Green Hills Ecotours on your arrival at Kigali airport, if time allows visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 2: Early morning, drive to Akagera National Park; after the game drive, drive back to Kigali for overnight in Kigali city.

Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe National Park; stopover in Butare for the national park museum visit and Lunch, after continue to Nyungwe. You can stop at Uwinka for a canopy walk before heading to the hotel. Overnight in Nyungwe forest.

Day 4: Early morning, enter the forest for Chimpanzee trekking in the morning and afternoon visit the tea company. Overnight in Nyungwe.

Day 5: After breakfast, visit Isumo waterfall and thereafter drive to Kibuye. Overnight in Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Day 6: Drive to Gisenyi via Gishwati forest. On the way visit the local community and birdwatching. Overnight in Gisenyi.

Day 7: Tea and coffee walking tour, meet the local community. Overnight in Rubona fishing village

Day 8: Cross the border to visit the town of Goma in DRC, Goma city sightseeing tour, and overnight in Goma

Day 9: Climb the Nyiragongo active volcano in Goma. Overning in The summit of Volcano

Day 10: Descend from the volcano and drive to Musanze in Rwanda.

Day 11: Mountain Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park. Spend the night in Musanze.

Day 12: Visit Dianne Fossey's tomb, spend the night in Musanze

Day 13: A relaxing day, visit twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo and drive to Kigali in the afternoon

Day 14: Kigali City Tour, get time for shopping, and drive back to the Kigali airport for your departure.
