Rwanda Trekking and Cycling Tour Experience

Day 1: Arrival

Meet your tour guide on your arrival at Kigali airport. If time allows, visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre. Overnight in Kigali

Day 2: Akagera National Park

Early morning, drive to Akagera National Park; after the game drive, drive back to Kigali for an overnight in Kigali city.

Day 3: Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe National Park; stopover in Butare for the national park museum visit and Lunch, and continue to Nyungwe. You can stop at Uwinka for a canopy walk before heading to the hotel. Overnight in Nyungwe forest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking

Early morning, enter the forest for Chimpanzee trekking, and in the afternoon, visit the tea company. Overnight in Nyungwe.

Day 5: Isumo Waterfall

After breakfast, visit Isumo waterfall and thereafter drive to Kibuye. Overnight in Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Day 6: Congo-Nile Trail

Biking from Kibuye to Kinunu village, along the Congo-Nile Trail. On the way, stop over for beautiful photography; visit the local community and birdwatching, and get the coffee experience from crop to cup. Overnight in Kinunu

Day 7: Congo-Nile Trail

Bike from Kinunu to Gisenyi, continue experiencing the best of the Congo-Nile trail, a long lake Kivu while cycling in a fishing village, interacting with people, and learning a lot from Rwandan culture. Have an evening in Rubona fishing village at Inzu Lodge.

Day 8: Gisenyi Sightseeing

Gisenyi sightseeing cycling tour with a Visit to Dancing Pots (Pygmy community), and in the afternoon, meet the fishermen community for the night fishing experience tour. Overnight at Inzu Lodge in Rubona fishing village

Day 9: Noel Orphanage

In the morning, after breakfast,visit the Noel orphanage and continue to the Imbabazi community for a nature, culture performance, and historical tour. After this wonderful and inspiring experience, proceed to Musanze overnight.

Day 10: Gorilla Tracking

Mountain Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park. Spend the night in Musanze.

Day 11: Climbing

Climb Mount Bisoke or Visit Dianne Fossey's tomb, and spend the night in Musanze

Day 12: Volcanoes National Park

Visit the Golden monkey in Volcanoes National Park. Overnight on Lake Ruhondo

Day 13: Relaxing Day

A relaxing day, drive along the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo, and continue to Kigali city overnight.

Day 14: Kigali City Sightseeing Tour

Visit the local market, get time for shopping, and then drive back to Kigali airport for your departure. End.
